Managed Email Hosting (Powered By Communigate®)
Microsoft Exchange® compatible hosting includes Shared Calendaring, Contacts, Notes, and Tasks using an integrated MAPI connector.

Shared Contacts, Calendaring, Notes, Tasks, and your Personal Web Page
Once your account has been setup on our server, you have 2 basic ways to utilize your mail services with Fastmetrics. You can either use our Web Mail system with our LookOut skin, or you can use Outlook to download your mail using POP3, IMAP, or you can install the MAPI plug-in to create an environment similar to Microsoft Exchange.
Each account comes with your own personal web page. This feature is great for people in your company that want to share files between each other. Just upload files into your locker, make sure you have the proper permissions set so your coworker can view your files, and send them a url to download the file.
Outlook Style Web Mail
Fastmetrics uses the LookOut skin created by Niversoft for our Communigate Pro server. Our web mail is fast and efficient and has all of the modern features available for your company. Features include shared Calendaring, Spell Checker, Subscriptions (Shared Folders), Address Book, Filtering Rules, Vacation Message, Forwarding, and Call Control (For our VoIP users).

MetricScrub - Spam & Virus Filtering
MetricScrub is powered by one of the most powerful filtering software in the world called Postini®. Every user within your companies email domain will have their own message center mailbox that you can login to and check to see if any valid mail has been caught in the filters. You create white lists to enable know addresses and blocked senders list to keep the unwanted mail out of your inbox. All viruses are scrubbed from your mail and stored in a quarantine and are deleted every 14 days along with your unwanted spam. Metricscrub is included with every mail account you purchase on our server.

Each domain that you sign up with Fastmetrics has access to a very powerful email list server which supports digests & archiving of your list servers. Gone are the days of Majordomo, this dynamic list server has an intuitive interface that allows you to add and modify your user accounts easily.

Our mail services use a special Access List (ACL) feature which allows you to set permissions on your files and folders in your mail account. Setup groups and/or individual mailboxes and specify which items those users would like to share, and who can see these shared resources.
Setup an account like "support," and then share that folder with everyone on your system. The folder appears like a normal folder in your web mail or Outlook, and enables you to share a mailbox with an individual or a large group of users. Our mail server is Unix based, so you only need to familiarize yourself with a few simple commands, and you are ready to start sharing files and resources.
